Commonly prescribed medications

Oclacitinib (Apoquel)

Lokivetmab (Cytopoint) injection

Ilunocitinib (Zenrelia)

Oclacitinib is a Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor that targets chemical signals (cytokines) involved in itch and inflammation in allergic skin disease. By blocking these signals, itch intensity and skin irritation are reduced.

Ilunocitinib (Zenrelia)

Lokivetmab (Cytopoint) injection

Ilunocitinib (Zenrelia)

ilunocitinib is a Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor that interrupts inflammatory and itch signalling pathways involved in allergic reactions in the skin. It is a newer alternative to Oclacitinib (Apoquel) that is slightly more targeted to itch pathways.

Lokivetmab (Cytopoint) injection

Lokivetmab (Cytopoint) injection

Lokivetmab (Cytopoint) injection

Ciclosporin (Atopica)

Corticosteroids (ie Prednisolone)

Lokivetmab (Cytopoint) injection

Ciclosporin is an immunomodulator that dampens immune responses that drive allergic inflammation, helping reduce itching and skin changes over time.
